Score Card Information

To help you evaluate the course at the Gander Golf Club, we have included a Score Card section which will outline vital information about each hole. Remember to check our Rules of Play, Local Rules and Keep Pace Program sections. Also, please replace all divots and repair all ball marks.

Rules of Play
Rules of the Royal Canadian Golf Association will govern ALL play, except where modified by Local Rules.

Local Rules

Out of Bounds White Stakes.
Water Hazards Defined by Yellow Stakes.
Lateral Hazards Defined by Red Stakes.
Paths and Pathways When the ball lies on or touches a depression or hump caused by a drainage ditch, it may be lifted and dropped within one club length and not nearer the hole than it's original position. No Penalty.
Golf Carts Carts must remain well away from greens and tees (at least 30 feet). Drivers must obey all signs, carts must be driven on paths where available. Cut portion on fairways crossed at 90º only.
Care of Course Before leaving bunker, please rake all footprints and holes carefully. Repair all divots and ball marks.
Alcoholic Beverages Available from clubhouse and beverage cart. Personal alcohol may not be brought onto course.
Dress Code Neat, proper and complete golfing attire is required on the course. Shirts and flat heeled shoes must be worn at all times.
Note Players must cooperate with Course Marshall at all times.

Keep Pace Program

1. Anticipated playing time ... 9 holes: 2 hours 15 minutes.
2. Never record your score on or near the green.
3. Do not leave your cart or clubs at the front of the green.
4. Go directly to your ball, hit when safe to do so.
5. Line up your putt before it is your turn.
6. Mark errant shots with a landmark.
7. Shorter hitters should hit first.
8. Be conscious of the 5 minute lost ball rule.
9. Play a provisional ball if you hit a shot that goes astray.
10. First person to putt out, be ready to replace the flagstick.
11. Play ready golf, keep pace with those in front, and, when necessary, please wave faster players through.
12. Tenth tee: Players coming off the 9th green have the right of way at all times.
